SAPRA - the International Association of Defence Product Manufacturers - participated in the presentation of the study "The Baltic Defence Industry: United We Stand, Divided We Fall?", organised by the Latvian Institute for Strategy and Economic Solutions (LaSER) in Riga.

The event brought together representatives of public institutions, the defence industry, academia and policy experts to discuss the current state and future development of the Baltic defence industry, with particular attention to regional cooperation, industrial resilience and the competitiveness of the defence technology sector.

The study examined the strategic importance of closer cooperation among the Baltic States, highlighting opportunities to strengthen industrial capabilities, develop joint initiatives and enhance the resilience of regional defence supply chains.

The event also provided a platform for exchanging views on the evolving security environment, innovation, defence production and the role of industry in supporting regional and European security.

Participation in discussions of this kind reflects SAPRA's commitment to supporting dialogue between industry, public institutions and research organisations, while contributing to the sustainable development of the defence and security sector across the Baltic region.
