SAPRA - the International Association of Defence Product Manufacturers - met with representatives of General Dynamics European Land Systems (GDELS) to discuss potential cooperation within the defence industry across the Baltic region.
GDELS was represented by Moritz Tillmann, Senior Manager Industrial Development, and José Bayón, Institutional Relations Director.
The discussion focused on potential areas of cooperation related to industrial development and research and development (R&D), as well as opportunities to strengthen connections between companies and defence-sector expertise in the region.
Closer engagement between international defence companies and businesses operating across the Baltic region can support the exchange of technical knowledge, the development of industry partnerships and the identification of areas where capabilities may complement one another.
The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange perspectives on regional defence industry development and explore possible directions for further dialogue.
SAPRA continues to facilitate connections between defence industry stakeholders and support international cooperation that can create practical opportunities for companies across the wider defence ecosystem.
