Baltic Dialogue in Technology and Security: SAPRA Participates in Estonian Business Delegation Visit to Latvia

Share

On May 26, 2025, the Embassy of the Republic of Estonia in Riga hosted a key event for Latvian–Estonian cooperation — a visit from the Estonian business delegation, organized by the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LTRK) in cooperation with Estonian partners. The platform served as a strategic meeting point for those shaping the region’s industrial, technological, and security future.

The event was attended by Estonia’s Minister of Economic Affairs and Information Technology Erkki Keldo and Latvia’s Minister of Economics Viktors Valainis, reaffirming high-level political support for cross-border cooperation in strategically important sectors.

SAPRA, as the leading defense industry organization in the region, took part in the event to strengthen professional ties between Latvia and Estonia and explore closer collaboration with Estonian companies operating in key sectors — from industrial automation and e-identity systems to modern packaging solutions and engineering innovation. The event provided an opportunity to initiate discussions on joint product development and cooperation in export markets.

The visit also marked the official opening of the Estonian Business Center in Riga, underscoring both countries’ interest in expanding their economic presence in each other’s markets. This step signals a new phase of collaboration, where innovation and the defense industry are becoming a shared Baltic reality.

SAPRA remains committed to advancing a regionally coordinated and internationally competitive security ecosystem — where every engagement, including this one, contributes to long-term strategic value.
